St. Christine Community Centre is a community, faith-based organization and was founded in February 2000. God gave Brother Charles Ochieng a vivid vision to commence this community center to cater for the orphans and vulnerable children just by faith. The organization is registered with the Ministry of Culture and Social services.

St. Christine Community Centre runs an informal school situated in one of the largest slums of Kibera. It began with 25 students and has grown through many challenges to 160 students. Staff includes 10 teachers, one cook and one night guard. The school operates from nursery to class eight.

The school is located in Mogumoi-ini location Kibera Division and Bomas Sub-location. It is situated on a property on the outskirts of Kibera slums with plenty of room for expansion.
